Almost Ready

Last Thursday I moved to my gracious friend, to spend the last 2 weeks in Florida at the comfort of her home and food! She took me and my dogs in and helped calm my nerves, get ready and much more.

It was a sentimental day to see the house void of my things, I will miss my patio, that has seen too few get togethers but has brought me much joy none the less and owning a pool was exciting and so much work, but in the end was so worth having for a limited time.

Garage sale was a great success and the last of the items will be taking over by the new home owner to find a new purpose for someone else. My bins are stored at another friend for safe keeping. Less than 20 bins is all that I hold onto as far as possession goes, well and the things in my car.

The dogs and me will be heading out soon and the feeling that in a short few days I won't own much of anything anymore is sinking in, but it is not daunting, rather freeing.

There are a few very special people here in Florida that I am leaving behind and that is most definitely the hardest part of the decision. Just know my friendship is not bound by time or place and the paths surely will cross again. My heart is telling me it is time to find that place that brings calm and rest to my soul.
