A funny one:

I had wanted to write it down a while ago, but then forgot and now remembered.

How fun it is to get older!

A few weeks back, my mom, Emma and myself are walking downtown in my home town. Yes it is a small town, but due to it being in a central vacation spot, it has a little street, where there are shops and cars can't drive.

Anyhow, we window shopped that day and we passed 2 women that stood quite far apart but had a conversation. My mom passes through them and says "Hello". As far as Emma and I could tell, neither women responded. So Emma bursts out laughing and makes fun of small town ways, to say randomly "Hello". So my mom wants to know why Emma is laughing and Emma tells her, then also says "Hello" in a rather loud voice. Next thing you know the guy near by says "Hello" back, prompting Emma to turn bright red. We all laughed about it. The rest of the week of the week we kept randomly saying "Hello" and odd times, making us laugh out loud.

A happy one:

Lots of stores have plastic free options in their regular offerings. There is soap in carton boxes, bamboo tooth brushes and more than 1 option of bio degradable cleaning supplies. It makes me happy to see these things in main stream stores. Also the grocery store near buy has a bring your container and fill with beans, noodles and rice option. They also have a grow herbs in the store area, really cool. One thing I bought that I am excited about is washing sheets. It is a thin packet with sheets you just throw into your washing machine. No plastic packaging either. There was advertisement on the website I won't mention and I had thought what a cool idea, then I found it in one of the stores I went to and bought it right away. I will report if the clothes get clean.
